While personal injury crashes also experienced a decrease, we unfortunately had two fatal traffic incidents, one involving a pedestrian and the other a motorcyclist. In terms of Traffic and Pedestrian Safety, we experienced a small decrease in overall traffic related crashes, resulting in the lowest number of traffic incidents in 10 years. In 2011, we experienced an overall decrease of 7%, with Burglaries being reduced by 18%. In 2010 we saw an increase in crime to its highest level in the last 10 years.
